Didactic materials of the Sierra GreenwayThis section is aimed at teachers who wish to incorporate new learning stimuli into the classroom in order to revitalize lessons and the responses of their pupils in school work. The material could also be useful for educational work in sportive, nature or cultural associations and as an informative reference point in the field of rural and ecological tourism.
The information provided here is designed for the last stage of Primary Education and all of compulsory Secondary Education, but we believe it is equally useful at both lower and upper levels.
The main aim of the Education Corner is to raise awareness of our surroundings and generate commitments to action, i.e. to encourage environmental education. With this information, we want to provide one more educational resource to the existing options in environmental education in Andalusia, in accordance with the recommendations by the Andalusian Strategy for Environmental Education and the approaches of our autonomous community Education Law.
All the information available in Education Corner is based on the electronic book (Vía Verde de la Sierra – A Route of Learning) by Agustín Cuello Gijón, sponsored by the Foundation of the Sierra Greenway, the Provincial Council of Cádiz and Seville and Ministry of Education and Science, Board of Andalusia and Ecologists in Action from Cádiz.

Resources for developing new classroom and field materialsThis image bank includes resources (photographs, drawings, diagrams) in JPEG format relating to places, situations, facts, etc. of the Sierra Greenway, several of them used in the composition of worksheets or in slide presentations. All files and documents are susceptible to print. Likewise its format makes the selection of texts and images to reconstruct or rework new proposals of work possible.
